1) Press the Home button
2) Then press the Settings button
3) Now press General
4) Now go to About
5) Look for “Version:” after that, it will have a bit of text, but we are only interested in the first 3 numbers, it will say something like 1.1.2, 1.1.3. If yours says 1.1.2 you have firmware, same deal with if it says 1.1.3 or something else.

Enjoy!

As I am sure most of you with an iPhone know, as soon as you plug it in to your PC or Mac iTunes and iPhoto launch up, now this get more annoying then helpful. So 37Signals have set up a tutorial / step-by-step instructions on how you can stop this happening, they explain how to set up the AppleScript which is what will stop iPhoto launching up.

One of my friends personally had this problem, so I told him about the 37Signals tutorial and it really helped him out, he said it was really easy to do, and he hasn’t had any problems since, so if you have the same trouble give it a try.
