Pre-orders for the iPhone 4S sold out in the first day of availability, according to shipping estimates on Apple’s Web site. The iPhone 4S went on pre-order in the predawn hours on Friday. Carrier AT&T called it its most successful iPhone launch ever, with more than 200,000 orders in the first 12 hours

Rumors Circulate that Apple Will Delay Launch of iPhone 5

In what could come as a blow to iPhone enthusiasts, rumors began to circulate on Wednesday that Apple was delaying the release of its iPhone 5, which was slated to happen this summer. If true, this would be the first summer since 2007 that the company has not released a re-vamped version of one of its most signature products.
