			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Australian IT have published a news article about the iPhone and Australia. According to some Queensland law researchers there may be even more of a delay getting the iPhone into Australia while this hiccup. Below are some snippets from the AIT article;</p>
<p>&#8220;The legal hiccup could delay the arrival of the must-have gadget phone, which is expected in Asia and Australia some time this year.<br />
However, some are concerned that the phone&#8217;s exclusivity deals with mobile carriers is anti-competitive. &#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Ideally I&#8217;d like to see a version of the iPhone released in Australia that&#8217;s not locked to any carriers at all, although that doesn&#8217;t seem likely based on what&#8217;s happened in the past.&#8221;</p>
<p>Apple Australia was contacted but declined to comment.<br />
