Sun bring Java to the iPhone via the SDK

10 Mar.

iPhone complaints
Apple have said they won’t be giving Sun the opportunity to put Java on the iPhone for Java apps, BUT with the Apple SDK coming out Sun have decided to take things into their own hands. They will be making a Java Virtual Machine for the device that will allow java applets to be run on it. We’re pretty sure at least a few decent applications will come out of this, we’ll just have to wait and hope. Gonna be interesting to see how Apple will handle Sun sneaking Java onto the iPhone with this method.
