iPhone: No Flash Player
Rumors of a flash player been introduced to the iPhone have been floating around in large volumes lately, but Steve Jobs himself has dismissed the idea of putting Adobe Flash Player on the iPhone. The reasons were that the desktop flash player preforms too slow to be useful and the mobile version is not capable of been used with the web.
As for how many people really care if flash got put on the iPhone or not is debatable, in fact the lack of flash on the iPhone would be a lot less notable if it hadn’t been for Steve Jobs repetitive promises that the iPhone would let you see web pages how they were meant to be seen.
To finish on a positive, while flash may not be on your iPhone any time soon, Jobs has said that with the coming SDK there will be a lot of applications out this summer.
